Mau Pavón (b. 1975, Buenos Aires) Visual artist based in Basel, Switzerland. His technical foundation began in Argentina at the Central Mendía Academy, where he completed eight years of academic training. Following a professional background in graphic design and advertising, he has dedicated the last decade to a full-time artistic practice, redefining his visual language through painting.

Currently, his work investigates the intersections of spirit, energy, and matter. His practice serves as a metaphysical inquiry into the essence of existence, aiming to visualize that which remains hidden from direct perception. By manipulating time and material on the canvas, he constructs a bridge between internal spiritual dimensions and the physical world.

Since relocating to Europe, he has established a consistent presence in the Basel art scene, notably as a Resident Artist at Numas Igra Gallery and through frequent exhibitions at the Basel Art Center. His work has been exhibited at institutional venues such as the CAC (Contemporary Art Center) in Mijas, Spain, as well as in various galleries across Argentina and Switzerland.
