Mau Pavón @mau_pavon_artist revives the COL-ART movement with his “THE ATELIER EXPERIENCE PROJECT”!
The international art movement of coordinated collective art COL-ART celebrated great successes over the past decades in museums and galleries in Mexico, Spain, Germany, and Switzerland.
The first exhibition took place in 1969 in Basel, at the Katakombe Gallery, where the first Basel COL-ART artworkwas also created.
53 years later! – In 2022 – together with the initiators Marc Kuhn and Rossana Durán, we once again presented this impressive, unique work in Basel.

NUMAS IGRA ist eine von Künstlern betriebene Galerie und seit 2015 in der europäischen Kunstszene aktiv.
10 Jahre mit Höhen und Tiefen und mit über 150 Ausstellungen und Events:
Vom Apéro-Club bis zum KNTRBNT-Festival – von Einzelausstellungen zu grossen Gruppenausstellungen…
– StreetArt, Performances, Konzerte, Lesungen, Kurse, ArtistTalks, Art&Eat, Degustationen…
– von Dänemark über Frankreich in die Schweiz nach Basel, wo wir uns seit 2018 dafür einsetzen talentierte Künstler zu fördern, indem wir ihnen eine ansprechende Galerieerfahrung bieten.
In regelmäßig organisierten kuratierten Gemeinschafts- und Einzelausstellungen überbrücken wir die Kluft zwischen Künstlern und Sammlern.
Unser Ziel war es von Anfang an, eine Gemeinschaft zu schaffen, in der sich Künstler treffen, Erfahrungen und Ideen austauschen und neue Projekte entstehen können.
Ein Treffpunkt für Liebhaber der Schönen Künste und der kulinarischen Freuden.
Ab diesem August – rechtzeitig zu unserem 10-jährigen Galerien-Jubiläum – an einem neuen Standort und in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Design Store LAMPENART-BASEL @lampenart_basel, an der Hochstrasse 70 im Basler In-Quartier, dem Gundeli – nähe Bahnhof SBB.

SOLO EXHIBITION IN GALERIE SECHS «IN TRANSITION»
On April 3rd, I will be presenting my new exhibition at the renowned Galerie Sechs in Basel. This young gallery is vibrant and highly professional, and they do an excellent job. In this show, I’ll be showcasing the transition from one collection to another—highlighting the evolutionary process and how various elements and concepts begin to take on new shapes and colors. What starts out geometric and rigid gradually shifts toward the organic and dynamic, all set in distinct contexts and planes.
